OK, Wait for it....
Another change in the plan...
Our contractor took a closer look at the wood in our barn and all of it is pretty much warped. Too warped to make a table out of it.
I'm kind of sad and kind of relieved at the same time. Sad because I wanted to bring some of the history of the property into the house. Relieved because when I spoke to David about the barn wood, he mentioned that, in it's life time, the wood was hit by plenty a' cow patties. That's when I started having health concerns. Could they get all the poop off the wood so it would be safe to eat off of? Guess we don't have to worry about it anymore.
