Click Away Monday #1

So, since there isn't much working being done at the house right now and nothing has changed with our situation, I've decided to structure my blog a bit different - just to keep in the habit of posting for me and maybe generate some fun and interest for you.

For now, and until something major comes up, Mondays will be Click Away Mondays where I'll be sharing some of my recent photos and you can link up below to share your best pics of the week. More details at the end of the entry.

WARNING: This post has A LOT of pictures..

This week Hubby had to work on Saturday. I didn't want to sit at home on my mostly day off so I joined him for the ride up and spent the day treating myself to some much deserved time away from home, doing things that I like to do.

On the way over (left the house at 5AM) we were treated with an amazing sunrise.  I had to stop for this one - the ocean was flat, flat, flat and the sky mirrored off the surface. It was a bit too dark for my little point and shoot to get a good pic, but you get the idea

While Hubby was unlocking the gate, I looked back and saw the sun coming up thru the trees

As we reach the 2nd gate I saw this magnificent cloud.

One of the lagoons - Lovely, just lovely.

While I waited for it to be early enough to head to some stores I walked around the lagoons and took a few pics - farted around with a water spout

I know

it's a bunch

but each one has something different that makes it special.

OK, let's call it a study.

A study of a faucet

A faucet study.....yeah....sounds good...a faucet study...

After making my way around the plant I landed in the maintenance buildings where I found all kinds of cool stuff - that I think look best in sepia or in Black and White.

Love the reflection of the mountain side

Cool stuff, huh?

Then I made my way over to the golf course and took a couple of pics there.

So that's part of my Saturday that I feel is share worthy.

Now it's your turn!

  1. Good Morning Heidi,

    Your photographs are so good!!
I tried sharing one but it wouldn't let me choose a picture.
Also, I want to reply by email, but on your set up it has you as a "no reply blogger" on your comment section. I know because I did the same thing at first, but then I went through my settings to get more feedback.
I'm always "live and learn" about this blog stuff.

Your picture link up idea is such a fun one!

    1. Aloha Deb and Good Morning to you too!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to go back and look at my settings and figure out how to make it possible to share/link as a photo icon and not just a link - does make it a bit less interesting.

I do love the one you shared, you have such style! I hope when we finally make it to our ranch and I have the room to paint and create that I can go back to your site and get inspired all over again!\.

      Aloha and Mahalo,
      Me
